Inspiring women in Belgium: Meet Laura Dumont

The Womenpreneur Initiative is launching a series about inspiring women entrepreneurs in Belgium. Its aim is to increase awareness about female role models in the Belgian community.

Today, we present to you Laura Dumont! Laura is an eco-friendly entrepreneur who has founded her company Surveco. We will soon welcome Laura to speak about her inspiring journey in GenerationW Programme.

Laura Dumont

Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the ICHEC Brussels Management School. She graduated in 2020 and shortly after she launched her business, Surveco. She is a member of ICHEC Alumni Network and a coordinator for ASEB (Association for Student Solidarity in Belgium). For more than 10 years, she has been a member of the youth movement Les Scouts ASBL. The Mission of Les Scouts ASBL aims to contribute to the education of young people to help build a better world where people play a constructive role in society.

A blooming workplace

When she created Surveco, Laura was mainly inspired by her 7 years of leadership in scouting. She realised the strength of a good team and the importance of playful activities. Surveco organizes solidarity team-building exercises which build team spirit and engage your collaborators to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). She proposes three types of services: online team building, outside team building and tailored team building. These activities  consist of gaming, sharing and awareness raising. They can either be sporty or dare your teamwork with reflective and cooperative challenges. In the end, it participates to develop a work environment where everyone can personally and professionally bloom.

Besides, Surveco emphasises the importance of strengthening your team cohesion by making your team conscious of a societal issue. This is why the virtual team building is organised around strong themes linked to solidarity. Indeed, the team can choose to organise its online team building around one of these three themes: extreme poverty, quality education for all and gender equality. Surveco allows your company to apply its values through teambuildings where activity rhymes with solidarity.
